HIGH-MILEAGE VEHICLES
Salas O'Brien not only subsidizes $500 towards purchase of a new or used automobile that is EPA- rated to attain 40 miles per gallon of fossil fuel or over, but will also cover said vehicle’s annual license registration fee for as long as the employee owns the car.

GO PUBLIC
Salas O'Brien fully participates in the pre-tax commuter-check program to help fund emoployee fares on public transit to access our work sites.

GO SOLAR
Salas O'Brien subsidizes $500 toward the installation of photovoltaic systems on our team members' homes.

ANNUAL GREENIE AWARD
Recognition and trophy for the team member who most consistently demonstrates moves toward sustainability.

REDUCING LANDFILL
Salas O'Brien requires team members use permanent beverage containers, and provides on-site filtration of drinking water. The San Jose facility also provides on-site composting of landscaping and food biomass.

SMARTER THERMOSTATS
Salas O'Brien pays $25 to team members who install the local utility company's "SMART™" thermostat.

UTILITY REBATE QUALIFIED MATCHING
Salas O'Brien offers every team member a financial incentive toward home energy-efficiency upgrades equal to (and thus doubling) the amount offered by the local utility company, including installation of EnergyStar™ replacement windows, appliances, insulation, etc. on the employee's principle residence.

NO TASTE FOR WASTE
Mugs are always encouraged for hot drinks, bring your own mug! Single use water bottles are a thing of the past; Salas O'Brien provides water filtration systems in each office.
